Constance Vanessa Wall

Constance Vanessa Wall departed this life at age 63 on July 27, 2019.

Constance was born in Durham, NC on September 3, 1955.  She was the youngest child of James E. and Daisy Buie Wall.

Constance was preceded in death by her father and by her brother, James E. Wall, Jr.

Constance was educated in the Durham Public Schools.  She attended Maryland State University and received her BS degree in chemistry from North Carolina Central University.

Constance was employed at Research Triangle Institute from 1980-2011.  In her work at RTI, she served as Environmental Chemist, Research Environmental Scientist and Quality Assurance Specialist.

Among her favorite pastimes were cooking, gardening, reading, crafting and listening to jazz.

Constance is survived by her daughters Jessica Lorraine and Taylor Marie; by her mother Daisy, aunt Virginia Buie, sister Doris Grant, sister-in-law Charlene Powell Wall; nephews M. Robert Grant, James E. Wall III and Jordan C. Wall; niece Melissa Grant DeRadcliffe; and many Buie cousins.

Constance embodied warmth, wisdom and wit and will be missed by her friends and family.
