Delores (Leathers) Taylor

Mrs. Delores Leathers Taylor, a lifelong of resident Durham, NC went to be with the Lord on the 19th of June, 2019 at the Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.  She was born on February 10, 1942 in Durham, NC to the parents Leroy and Lydia Stewart.

Mrs. Delores L. Taylor was married to the late Clarence Taylor, Sr. for 24 years.  She had one brother, Bobby Leathers, raised six children, Michael (deceased), Wendy (Bobby), Clarence (Vanessa), Sheila (David), Travis and  Myshaun (Christy).

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she attended until her health no longer allowed. 

She was a loving housewife who devoted her time to her husband and her children.  A faith driven woman who touched the hearts of many with her words of wisdom.  She was a mother to many and a dear friend to most. 

Delores Taylor leaves a legacy of memories to her five children, 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
