Ms. Erricca Iola Denise Neal Majors, age 46, found rest and peace at Hock Family Pavilion Durham, NC on Saturday, November 23, 2019 after fighting her illness for 15 years. By God’s grace and mercy, she was not alone during her transition but in the company of her big sister.
Erricca was born on August 19, 1973 to Jessie Neal. Erricca graduated from Hillside High School June 1991 and attended North Carolina Central Universtiy. During her forty-six years of life Erricca worked as a Bovanti model, worked in a hair salon and various other service areas. Erricca’s passions were fashion and make-up, travel, dancing, and spending time with family.
Being a Neal woman, Erricca fought her illness with a smile, strength, pride, and faith. She fought her battle for almost 15 years without complaining and continued to participate in family activities until it was too much for her body.
Survivors include mother Jessie Majors, aunt Mary Bullock, sister Patricia Chambliss(Kelvin) of Greensboro, son Hykeem Majors of Durham and two daughters Kenyana Redwood and Samoya Majors, a niece Jasmine Quick of Greensboro, grandson Makani Redwood of Durham, and great-nephew Marcus G. Miller of Greensboro. She was preceded in rest by grandmother Birt Neal, dad Ben Majors and two nephews Gabriel and Kevin Quick of Greensboro.
