Jaylan Irvin Lassiter

Jaylan Irvin Lassiter, born May 16, 1996 to Nachele (Phillip) Jones of Glen Allen, VA and Tony R. Lassiter of Durham, NC entered eternal life on September 8, 2018.

Jaylan leaves to mourn him his maternal great-grandmother, Morine Morris of Washington, DC; maternal grandmother, Alberta McClain of Fredericksburg, VA; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Phyllis Lassiter of Durham, NC; sisters, Brittany Lassiter and Jada Jones; brothers, Caleb Riley-Lassiter and Quinten Jones; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other family.

Viewing at Fisher Memorial Funeral Parlor, 3137 Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC, will take place Sunday and Monday, September 16 & 17, 2018 between the hours of 10:00am -6:00pm. Memorial Services are being held at New Hope Missionary Baptist, 581 New Hope Church Rd. Apex, NC 27523 at 12:00pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Family visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service.  

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the North Carolina Victims Relief Fund (nc-van.networkforgood.com) to commemorate Jaylan’s memory.
