Jermaine Lewis Sellers was born December,15,1972 in Alexandria,VA. At the age of 3 he moved to Durham, North Carolina and UNC became his favorite team. He departed his life on September 25,2019, at Duke University Hospital after his two year battle with cancer.
Jermaine accepted God at an early age and was baptized at Bell-Yeager Freewill Baptist church. He often shared Gods word with people he came across to encourage them. He was an extremely hardworking man, but in his spare time he enjoyed gardening, interior design, reading, and cooking. He always kept a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Even while battling cancer he kept his positive demeanor. Jermaine obtained his high school diploma and a certificate in Home Land Security while going to school online. He was employed by Walmart for over 23 years where he was a supervisor over several departments.
Jermaine was married to Ebony McLean for over 6 years and she gave him the best gift ever Nora. Although divorced they remained great friends.
He leave to cherish his daughter , Nora Sellers; his mother , Gladys Holmes Sellers; his father, Richard Sellers; his sisters, Tammie Sellers and Sarah Sellers of Durham and Pamela Sellers and Samone Sellers of Virginia; his brother Cory of Durham and Mike of Virginia; his aunts, Mary Holmes, Carrie Davis and Annie Holmes; his uncle Wallace Holmes; his Godchild Jayceon Sellers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
