Kenneth Nowitzky Askew, Sr.

Kenneth Nowinsky Askew, Sr., son of the late Clarence Elwood and Edith Ann Cuffee Askew, was born on January 5, 1937 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He departed this life on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Brian Center Southpoint.

He was a member of Cox Memorial Free Will Baptist Church where he had been a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Holman Askew and daughter Belinda Holman.

Surivvors include a daughter, Kendra Tanika Askew; sons, Donnell Holman, Michael Holman, James Byam, Van Askew, Kenneth N. Askew, Jr. and Eugene Holman; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Askew Palmer and Virgie Lene Askew Long.
