Rosalyn Elease Reed

Rosalyn Elease Reed was born to Annie and Ordencie (deceased) August 26th 1951. From this union was three daughters, Rosalyn Reed, Sheralyn Goldston (deceased), and Marilyn Huger. Rosalyn leaves to mourn her mother Annie Reed, sister Marilyn Huger; brother Bernard Gilchrist. Niece Mariel Huger, Nephew Jermaine Goldston. Grandnieces Gisele Goldston, Kaylee Goldston, India Rigsbee, Mariah Corrales. Grand nephews Jermaine Goldston Jr. , Justin Goldston and a host of close family and friends.

She attended Durham Public Schools. She graduated Hillside High School, class of 1970. She attended North Carolina Central University. She was employed with Durham Public Schools for 15 years amongst many other occupations. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church.

Roz was a very giving and caring person with a big heart who spread her positive energy and kept a smile on everyone’s face. She loved spoiling her nieces and nephews.
