Aaron Dwayne “Splash” Reese was born on April 19, 1988 to Mary Reese-Hart and Raymond L. Williams in Durham, N. C. He departed this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Durham, N.C.

Aaron attended Durham Public Schools and later Granville County Public Schools, graduating from South Granville High School in June 2006.

Aaron enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for his free spirit and kindness. His lifetime joys were drawing and writing music.  He was a dynamic artist and he loved the game of Basketball, which he played often.

Aaron adored and loved each one of his children, always spending quality time with them. He loved his Family.

Aaron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Joyce Reese; his paternal grandparents, Virge and Inez Williams; his sister, Yashica Foster Page.

Aaron leaves to cherish fond memories include his mother, Mary Reese-Hart (John Lee); his father, Minister Raymond L. Williams; his children, Nea, Aaron Jr, Ari and Zy’mir; three brothers, Kenneth Durham, Isiah Reese, and Durante Powell; sister, Shereldra A. Williams (Steven); aunts, Vickie Richardson (Lonnie), Tonya Reese, Barbara Wilson, Johnette Cozart, (Clint), and Kimberly Williams; uncles, Wayne Reese (Beverly), Jerry Reese (Donna), Kevin Reese, Virgil Williams, Charles Williams (Ericka) Leonard Williams (Shatacca), and Randy Williams; his cousins that were like his brothers, Dorel Clayton (Ramika), Blake Williams (Angelica), Cortney and Saquawn Williams; and many loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and family friends.
