Mr. Albert Renard Cooper, Jr., the middle son of Mr. Albert Renard Cooer Sr. and Mrs. Oretta Mitchell Coooper, was born on June 22, 1981 in Durham, North Carolina.  He departed his life on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Kill Devils Hill, North Carolina.

Albert attended the Durham Public Schools and graduated from C. E. Jordan High School in 1999.  He also completed his associate degree in Auto Mechanics from Durham Technical Community College.  At the time of his passing, he was employed with Fred Smith Construction Company.

Albert was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, and cousin to his family.  Albert will be remembered by many as being the most giving person ever, as he would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet.  He was a devoted uncle to three nephews and a niece whom he adored.  He also had a wonderful relationship with his maternal grandmother who he lovingly cared for until her death.

Those who knew Albert will remember him as an avid fan of WWF, Duke Men’s Basketball and Carolina Panthers.  He looked forward to spending his free time going to the range and indulging in self-care.

Preceding Albert in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Cooper, Mr. Theodore Mitchell Sr., Ms. Mildred Leak Mitchell and his older brother, Mr. Fred Mann.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his devoted parents, Mr. & Mr. Albert Renard Cooper, Sr. of the home; his siblings, Mrs. Tiffany (Tony) Hemphill, Ms. Adrian Currie and Mr. Justin Cooper; three nephews, Mr. Ja’Quan Smith, Mr. Jamal Currie-Elliott, Mr. Jahill Coooper of the home, and one niece, Miss Justice Cooper.  Albert’s legacy will also be remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, close cousins, and friends.
