Aleen Cureton was born March 21, 1955 to Sam Scarifino and Helen Brockman Cureton in Westchester County, Mount Vernon, New York. She departed this life on May 14, 2024.
She was educated in the Westchester County School System in Mount Vernon, New York and became a caregiver for many years. At the time of her death, she was employed at harvest for Hope where she loved what she did with her residents.
She was preceded in death by siblings William Brockman, Shirley Brockman, Georgianna Cureton Atwater (James) and Herman Cureton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four children, daughters Schmeka Cureton (Ryan) and Tanita Cureton and sons James Alfred Beverly (Tammy) and Ja’lee Beverly; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; one very special granddog (Princess); special friends, Betty Keyes, Nicole Dixon and Harriet Reaves; and a host nieces, nephews and cousins.
