Anthony Lamont “LA” Poole, son of Pearl Poole and Eddie L. Yates, was born on March 27, 1966 in Durham, North Carolina.  He departed this life on November 26, 2022.

Anthony  was educated in the Durham Public Schools.

 He had worked in the road construction industry and was also a welder.

 He was known for his pleasant disposition.

 He will be truly missed.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Garrett and Eddie Moore.

Anthony leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Pearl Poole Hood; his father, Eddie L. Yates (Wanda); sisters, Sharon Dennise Harris, Karen Dennise Jones, Tiffany Parker, Rose Parker, Danielle Yates; a brother, Derrick Lamont Garrett; Mable and Ricky Cooper, Hazel and Robert Edwards, Alonzo and Angie Yates, William and Cheryl Yates; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
