Jazelle Ariana Lee Street was born on August 5, 2022. She departed this life 27 days later on September 1, 2022. Jazelle was with us for a short length of time but she made a big impact on us. She was tiny with a big personality, that’s how she received the nickname “Diva” from Duke’s NICU Team. She was baptized on August, 26, 2022 at the Duke NICU Center.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sherri Stevons and Willie Elliott, Sr.; great- grandmothers, Julia Morman, Luvenia Elliott and Donna Jean Royster; great grandfathers, William Stevons, Sr. and Willie Thomas; and great-greatgrandmothers, Sarah Street and Helen Morman.
Jazelle leaves to cherish to her memory: her parents, Miss Anastasia Elliott and Mr. Darryl Street of the home, her sister, Jas’Zariya of Durham, NC; her grandparents, Mr. Darryl Street and Mrs. Carolyn Street of South Boston, VA; her great-grandparents, Mr. William Crudup and Mrs. Emma Crudup of Roxboro, NC; her God-mother, Miss Breyona Morgan and her God-sister, Brielle of Durham, NC; and a host of aunts and uncles, relatives, and family friend
