Chavis was a great man with an even greater heart. He was a loving, caring, supporting, and an amazing provider to all his family and friends.

Chavis’ grandfather, who was lovingly referred to as “Papa” proceeded him in death and Chavis will be buried at the feet of his “Papa”. Chavis was also preceded in death by his grandmother Olivia McIntyre Jones.

Memories of his love will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he leaves behind: his wife, Amelia of 6 years; daughter Angelisa Faith Crawford; his parents Dwight and Angela M. Crawford of Concord, NC; two sisters, Shekema M. Crawford of Durham, NC, and Claudia D.
