CLAUDE RAYMON RICHARDON, 59, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 26, 1964 to Alma Johnson Lesane and the late Claude Richardson, Jr. He departed this life on September 5, 2023 at the Durham VA Medical Center.
Raymon, as he was known by loved ones, graduated from North Iredell High School in 1983 and Baltimore City Community College with an Associate of Arts in Managerial Sciences in 1991. He also attended the University of Baltimore.
Raymon served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1988 as a Specialist (E-4). He was an electrician by trade and spent thirteen years working on special post-war projects across the world, including Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.
Raymon also worked previously for Crabtree Electric and Durham Public Schools.
An avid lover of sports, especially football, Raymon was a committed Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoyed fishing in his pastime since his childhood.
Raymon was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a family church he attended as a child. Later, he joined Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his biological father, he was preceded in death by the stepfather who raised him, Junious Lesane.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Alma Lesane; brothers, Corey Mitchell of Charlotte, NC and Edward Lesane, Sr. of Baltimore; sisters, Alvera Lesane of Durham, NC, Antionette Forrester and Claudine Richardson of Baltimore, MD and Nicole Madfis of San Francisco, CA and Yolanda Wallace Summerville, SC; uncles Benjamin Lesane, Sr. and Carl Lesane of Baltimore, MD; aunts Deborah Garrett, Francine Giles, Lena (Leonard) White and Lillie (Jesse) Robinson of Baltimore, MD, Maggie Farrow of Detroit, MI, Katie Monroe of Manhattan, NY, Mary (Ronald) Jones of Irmo, SC and Esther Hubbard of Miami, FL; a special cousin-brother Anthony Caldwell of Statesville; a special cousin-aunt Patricia Eckles of Harmony, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
