Deshawn Maurice Perry

Deshawn Maurice Perry was born to Bertha Perry-Payne and Melvin Payne, Sr., on January 28, 1986 in Durham, NC. He departed this earthly life on September 16, 2016 in Orange County.

He received his formal education in the public schools of Louisburg, NC, Durham, NC and Alamance Community College.  Deshawn was a dedicated, hardworking employee of Honda

Power Equipment in Swepsonville, NC and was currently employed at UPS, Durham, NC.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bonnie and Bertha Perry, his brother, George Perry, and uncles Travis and Orrin Perry.

Along with his parents, survivors include his wife, Janeka McAfee Perry; four children, Dillon Rashan Perry, De'Asia Monik McAfee, Deshawn Michelle Perry and Sabrina Nicole Perry of

Burlington, NC.; one brother, Melvin (Sasharae) Payne, Jr.; two sisters, Fonisha Roper and Juanita Fields of Durham, NC; six aunts, four uncles, 55 cousins and a host of extended relatives and friends,
