Imoni Taylor Obituary

The service will be live streamed on the Facebook Page of Fisher Memorial Funeral Parlor

Imoni Donae’ “Kiwi” Taylor, daughter of Donald Yates and Prophetess Angela Taylor Hinkson, was born on September 16, 2000 in Durham, North Carolina.  Imoni departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Imoni Graduated from Hillside High School Class of 2018.  Those who knew her, referred to her as “Kiwi”.  She proceeded to pursue mano of her goals and aspirations.  She gave her life to Christ and accepted him as her lOrd and Savior at an early age.  She loved the Lord, her family and people.  She never met a stranger.  She was known for her keen sense of fashion and her beautiful smile!  She had a smile and bubbly personality that would light up the room, and her sense of humor that would have you laughing from here to Mars.  She knew how to bring light in the mist of darkness to any situation.

Imoni came from a family of very hard working and spirituals individuals.  She believed in doing the same.  She never looked for any handouts but worked for everything she needed and wanted in life.  Imoni was beautifuil inside and out. She had a humble spirit and such a loving heart.  Her favorite bible verses to quote were Psalms 23: and Romans 4:17 – Call those things which be not as though they were into existence!  She had such crazy faith about anything that she set her mind on doing and would encourage others to do the same.  She was always a leader and not a follower and never tried to fit in with the crowd to make herself known or popular.  She embraced everyone that she came in contact with such gentleness, kindness, affection, and most of all, Love.  There was not an ounce of hate, envy, jealousy, bitterness, evil or wickedness in her heart.  Imoni had a pure heart.  In scriptures Matthew 5:8 it says:  Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see the Lord!  And now I know Imoni Donae’ “Kiwi” Taylor is now beholding and basking in the present of the O Mighty God saying enter into my place of rest my child, You belong to men now (REST)!!!

Imoni is survived by her father, Donald Yates (Shannon); her mother, Prophetess Angela L. Taylor Hinkson (Roger); her brothers, Donald Yates, Jr., Adonis Yates, Isaiah & Daveon Thompson; sisters, Donesti, Loyalty and Endia Pullium; her maternal parents,  Prophetess Ilean N.
