Jeffrey Jones

Jeffrey Jones, son of the late Henry Mitchell and Eva Mae Jones, was born on October 23, 1962 in Durham, North Carolina.  He entered eternal rest of January 12, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.

He attended the Durham Public Schools.

He had a kind heart and lots of love for many people. He was most remembered for loving music and being a dye-hard Duke Fan.  He was truly the Protector in the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Tyrone White; a brother, Tony A. Jones; and a sister, Shelia Jones Madison Reid.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, two sisters, Nikya Jones Baxter of Durham, NC and Deborah F. Perry of Clarksville, TN; half-sisters, Anita Green of Durham, NC and Gail Mitchell of Wilmington, NC; three nieces, Monica D. Baxter and Charlissa Sanders, both of Durham, NC and Christy Perry of Clarksville, TN; four nephews, John Perry and Christopher Perry of Clarksville, TN, Milton Jones and Joe Green of Durham, NC; a special friend, Annie McMillan of Durham, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
