Mary Frances (Avery) Henry

Mary Frances Avery Henry, daughter of the late Paul Bulla, Willie M. Jones (Stepfather) and Cora Thelma Jones was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on March 1, 1928. On June 6, 2022, our Heavenly Father came for his daughter, at her home.

She was educated in the Durham Public School System. Mary Frances was a previous member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church prior to joining Mount Calvary United Church of Christ where she attended until her health started to decline.

Ma Henry as she was called by many was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Bulla, Willie Jones (Stepfather), Cora Jones and husband Retired Army Sergeant Robert Henry Jr. and granddaughter, Monique Yvette Henry.

She married her high school sweetheart Robert “June” Henry, Jr. on November 11,1948 and to this union the following children were born Brenda Ann Henry, Robert C. Henry, Rickey M. Henry (Kathy) and J. Felicia Henry Carter (Edward ‘Ron”) all of Durham, NC.

MeMe, also leaves behind to cherish memorable moments 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, special daughters Donna McIver & Linda Rowland Herring, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
