Patricia Ann Rowe Henry, daughter of the late Rev. James Robert Lee Brown and Julia Pearl Brown was born in Anniston, Alabama on June 27, 1955, at Anniston Memorial   Hospital. On April 18, 2022, our Heavenly Father came for his daughter, at Duke Regional Hospital.

She was educated in the Durham Public School System. She was formerly employed at Duke University Medical Center for 13 years. She later worked and retired as an Administrative Assistant and Supervisor in Administration under the leadership of       Dr. Evelyn Schmidt at Lincoln Community Health Center.

At an early age, Patricia became a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Durham, Inc., then under the leadership of Evangelist Musella Curtis. Patricia’s father later became Pastor for several years and now she is under the leadership of Dr. Phillip W. Curtis. Patricia was a faithful member of various auxiliaries in the church including the Missionary Circle, the Women in Touch Auxiliary, the Pastoral Aid Auxiliary, and the Adult Sunday School until her health failed her. In the past she was instrumental in leading several fundraising initiatives and even made crafts to sell. Patricia truly believed in doing whatever she could for people. God had blessed her with an open heart, and she used it every time she could She was a true servant of God. Even after she became ill, she continued to call and check on the Founder whom she called her “Mother in Christ”.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend James Brown and Mrs. Julia P. Brown and her beloved daughter, Monique Yvette Henry.

Those who are left to treasure her memory are her three sons, Bobby William Henry,

Brian Lamont Henry both of Durham, NC, and Joseph Martin Henry, of Creedmoor, NC; two grandsons, Jayce Henry, and Alexander Singletary and one great grandson, Ryan

Singletary; Mother in Christ, Musella E. Curtis of Durham; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

The memory of Patricia’s steadfastness and determination will be a constant reminder of one who faithfully served despite her obstacles, and it will forever remain in our hearts.
