Phyllis Elaine Doles, 69, of Durham, NC passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 in the comfort of her home with both of her loving children by her side as always.

Born July 26, 1951 in Durham, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Doles, Sr. and Emma Jane Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Aesha Doles Poole (Gregory Arden Poole )and son, Derrick Alexander Doles, one grandchild, Jacobi Arden Poole, two sisters, Mallissa Doles, Margaret Doles-Riley, one brother, John Doles, Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews, all of which she adored and loved very much.

 She was a God-fearing woman and devoted mother. While she only had two biological children, there were many who viewed her as a mother. She was an excellent cook who marveled at the sight of family enjoying the meals and desserts she cooked for holidays and family get togethers. She enjoyed reading her bible, spending quality time with her children, and taking care of her grandchild. She prayed fervently. She was humble. She was genuine. She had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed and remembered and live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
