Reginald (Reggie) Jenkins entered into his Sabbath rest on November 2, 2024. Reggie was a lifelong resident of Durham, NC.
Reggie excelled every high academically from K-12 grade and graduated at the top of his graduating class. He also excelled very high in college as well.
Reggie worked for the City of Durham for 42 years. He started as a draftsman and retired as a computer programmer.
He was very active in church – serving in sound, sending tapes and CDs to shut ins, doing sermonettes, song leading and special music as well as many other things.
He is survived by his wife, brother, sister, two sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We look forward to the time when Revelation 21: 4 will become a reality – Gd will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away God speed that day!
There will be no funeral or memorial service as requested.
