Rev. LeVerne McLean, daughter of the late Alph Primis and the late Rosa Lee McLean, was born on August 4, 1955 in Durham County, North Carolina.  She departed this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson, North Carolina.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Xavier Danielle McLean.

She was educated in the Durham Public Schools and was a graduate of Durham High School.  She was a coding and billing specialist at the University of North Carolina.

She was a member of Kyles Temple AME Zion Church.

Her hobbies included cooking, drawing, reading, writing, driving and riding.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a daughter, Twyla McLean; a granddaughter, Tamya McLean.
