Ronald Wylie Obituary

Ronald Earl Wylie, born to Rebecca and Dolpus Wylie gained his wings on August 25, 2020.  He was born February 14, 1949. Ronald Wylie also known as Ron lost his life due to a lengthy illness while at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Wylie attended school in Durham North Carolina and briefly attended college at Coppin State University in Baltimore Maryland. Ron was a loving father who took pride in his family. Ronald loved to keep you laughing with his great story and jokes. He enjoyed gaining knowledge and once his knowledge was learned he shared all he learned with everyone. Mr. Wylie loves to make you think about life and the things that are happening in the world. He was such a wise man with a big heart and a true Jehovah Witness. He was a loving father and adored his grandchildren and great grand children.

Preceding Mr. Wylie in death was Rebecca and Dolpus Wylie, his sister Lily May Smallwood and his two nephews Lester Smallwood and Eric Evans.

Ronald Wylie leaves to mourn daughters Chiquett Wylie, Shantell Jackson, Jessica Roberson and Tara Mays; sons Harry Roberson and Angelo Laprade;  sister Gloria Berry Dos; grandchildren Lenell Morgan Davon Billips Tasean Yeargin Rashard Tillery Deangelo and Nyziah Wylie.; his two stepsons Harry Roberson and Angelo Laprade; Aa host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ronald Wylie was a loving father, brother, uncle, husband and friend will be truly missed but will also remain in our hearts.
