Rosa Gail McClain

Rosa “Gail” McClain was born February 12, 1958 in Durham, North Carolina. She departed this life April 15, 2020.

Gail Attended Durham Public Schools and was a 1976 graduate of Hillside High School. Gail was a true Hornet from her heart. She later attended Durham Technical Institute.

Gail was an amazing caregiver to her mother. She was a mother to many and an amazing cook that enjoyed being at home and caring for the people she loved.

Gail was predeceased by her parents Cecelia McClain and Charles Henry Thomas.

Gail is survived by a son Gustavo Ramon McClain of Harlem, New York, and a daughter Cecelia Nicole McClain of Burlington, North Carolina, one sister Robin Renee Green, one brother Floyd Amey Jr., several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial was Saturday, April 18, 2020 in New Bethel Memorial Gardens.
