Simone Marquette Burnette, son of Reginald Burnette and Ruby Burnette Mitchell, was born on May 23, 1972.  He departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in Asheville, North Carolina.

 He completed his high school education through Job Corps.

 Simone was employed by Prince Manufacturing Company in Asheville, North Carolina.

 He enjoyed cooking and sports.  He united with God’s Church in Asheville, North Carolina.

 He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ruby Mitchell (Freddie); one son, Justus Whitaker; two sisters, Shacondra Burnette and Ta-Easha Shaw; two aunts, Karen Burnette and Bernita Holley; three uncles, Walter McIntyre (Cordie), Charlie Burnette (Peggie) and Fletcher Burnette; and a host of other relatives and friends.
