The family of Thomas James Bradley Jr. wishes to announce his passing on Wednesday October 27, 2021. Thomas James Bradley Jr. was born in Durham, NC on January 18, 1952. He was raised in a Christian home by loving parents Thomas James Bradley Sr. and Mary L. Bradley who preceded him in death on April 4, 2019. Thomas was educated in Durham Public Schools, graduating from Hillside High School in 1970. After graduation he entered the United States Air Force and served 20 years receiving various awards and an honorable discharge. Thomas was stationed to various places including England, Spain, Greece, Germany, Italy and Egypt. He also traveled to 35 of the 50 states.
In 1991 after his military career, Thomas worked for the federal government. He retired from the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2015. Thomas loved to travel on the highway, going to the beach, playing cards, reading and studying the Bible. An active student of the Word of God, Thomas James Bradley Jr. wrote down over 700 Bible verses in his life. He also enjoyed playing beach volleyball, basketball, and football. A passionate football fan, he enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. Thomas attended 3 congregations in his life, most recently being a member of Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Durham. He was a very active member participating in several ministries.

Bradley of Atlanta, GA, Christopher A. Bradley of Orlando, FL, Thomica Bradley of MD; his wife, Mary P Bradley of Washington DC; former wife and mother of 3 children, Margaret Greer of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Dyneesha Bradley of Memphis, TN, Xavier Bradley of Fredericksburg, MD, Jordan Kalu of Upper Marlboro, MD, Devin Bradley of Ohio; one great grandson; siblings, Barbara Freeman of Durham, NC, Carolyn Bradley of Durham, NC, Cynthia Bradley of Durham, NC, Kenny Bradley of Durham, NC; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins , nieces, nephews and friends.
Thomas will be forever missed and forever loved.
