Timothy Laws Turner

On Sunday, September 22, 2019, Timothy Laws Turner passed peacefully through those pearly gates that God only allows the very best and blessed through. He is no longer experiencing pain and suffering and has joined the team of other guardian angels (like his parents Bernice and Jesse, Sr.) and is looking down on us all. Timothy was born in Baltimore Maryland on December 9, 1959. His love and passion were family and life. Timothy attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland while growing up in the Metropolitan Washington DC Area.

Tim wants everyone to know that his work here is done. He has received and accepted the call from the good Lord to focus on his next mission. His commitment to his family and friends was based on the tenants of loyalty and dedication. He was always willing to give the shirt off his back, along with his unconditional love and support regardless of the situation.

Tim always exhibited his pure love for his family, particularly for his three grandbabies. He was an entrepreneur and adventurist demonstrated early in age by opening up a “Chuck Wagon” (Roach Coach), completing a cross-country trip by car, and hitch hiking from Hyattsville to Ocean City with a group of his close friends. Tim believed in living life to the fullest and never stopped dreaming and pursuing his goals.

He is survived by his wife Miriam Turner; sons Adrian Turner and Alex Turner; daughter-in-law Safa Turner; brothers Jesse Turner, Jr. and Dwight Turner, Sr.; sisters-in-law Tiwana Turner and Monica Turner, Maria Noble Leon and Chari Masas; brothers-in-law Danny Masas (and family), Joe Leon, Ruben Masas (and family); grandbabies Laila Turner, Aliyah Turner and Ayah Turner; nephews, Jesse Turner, III, Dwight Turner Jr. , Tarik Turner, James Morales, Jr. and Melvin Perez; nieces Bridgette Taylor (and family), Alyse Turner, Rachel Flores (and family), Millie Saldana (and family) and Aracelis Santiago (and family); great nieces Jacy Turner, Jada Morales and Willie Taylor IV. ; great-nephew James (Bubba) Morales; and many more loved ones.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother Bernice Elaine Hunter Turner and father Jesse Louis Turner Sr., and uncles James Turner and Frank Turner
