Our dearly beloved Willie Edwin Foster II transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home on July 23, 2023. Willie was born on April 2, 1970 in Orlando, Florida to Willie Edwin Foster Sr. and Diane Hall.
Willie matriculated through the Orange County Public schools System and relocated to North Carolina to continue his education at North Carolina Central University for his undergraduate degree. He received his graduate degree from Florida State University.
Willie worked at Duke University for many years in IT and enjoyed computers and technology. Willie, “Will” as he was affectionately called, loved to fish, enjoyed family gatherings, going to the beach, and Florida State football.
Will had many good years in North Carolina and North Carolina became his home. He met and married wife, Natasha Ashe on September 17, 2016. Will is a jewel to us and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Edwin Foster Sr.; mother, Diane Hall; grandmother, Bernice Hall; grandfather, Clarence “Pee-Wee” Hall; aunt, Cynthia Moses; uncle, Clarence Hall Jr.
Left to cherish his memory; his wife, Natasha Ashe Foster; three daughters, Sierra Foster, Sophia Foster and Alana Howell; one son, Grayson Foster; three aunts, Netherland Hall, Clara Hall Jones and Carolyn Hall; brother, DeLeon Stokes; sister, Latonia Stokes; closed childhood friends, Darycus Gordon, John Moore Jr. and Cleveland “Ike” Douglas; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and many, many friends.
