The service for Mr. Howard will be live streamed on the Facebook Page of Fisher Memorial Funeral Parlor.
Willie Frank Howard, Jr. was born in Durham, N.C. March 12, 1977 to Willie Frank Howard, Sr. and the late Ethelene Gilchrist Howard. He was called home to glory on July 13, 2022.
Willie Frank was a member of World’s Greatest Church under the leadership of Elder Bunch during his early years. He attended Durham Public Schools. He worked alongside his father with Bob’s Construction.
Willie Frank never meet a stranger. He was a frequent flying in the McDougald Terrace Community where he was affectionately known as the “Mayor of McDougald. He was committed to helping when and where ever he could with community events. He would always say “I don’t have no money but what you need me to do” and he would work until the end without complaint!
In his coming and going he never failed to let you know that he loved you. He loved to sing, dance, cook for his dad and spend time with his family. If you were looking for Willie Frank, you didn’t have to look far. Willie’s infectious smile and presence could always be found at the Shell Gas Station in Wellons Village never far from home. We will truly miss pulling up for gas and Willie Frank saying “Can I get $2.00”!
Willie Frank Howard, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his father Willie Frank Howard, Sr. of the home; one sister Jessica Howard (Mark) of Durham, N.C.; two nieces Jaquetta S. Howard and Shaqueeta S. Howard of Durham, N.C.; two nephews Stevie D. Howard (Alicia), Markise M. Howard of Durham and a host of extended family, and friends.
