Barbara Ruth (Clark) McKnight

Barbara Ruth Clark McKnight was born January 4, 1942 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to the late Minnie Hinson.  She departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2017 at Hock Family Pavilion.

She attended Anson Training School in Wadesboro and worked at Ballet Hosiery Mill.  She later moved to Durham and retired from Duke Hospital.

She was married to the late Julius McKnight.  She was also preceded in death by sisters Terry Watson and Julia Clemmons.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, a daughter, Julia M. Boone (Herman) of Durham, NC; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three sisters, Thomasine Hinson of Covington, GA, Gwendolyn H. Little (Jerry) of Wingate, NC and Vickie H. Pettway (Donish) of Kernersville, NC; three brothers, James L. Hinson (UnChu) of Polkton, NC, Raymond C. Hinson (Cheryl) of Polkton, NC and Phillip W. Hinson of Indian Trail, NC.
