"In lieu of flowers, treat YOURSELF to a meal in Memory of TIM."

TIMOTHY LAMONT JARMAN, was born in Durham, North Carolina on April 27, 1967.  He was the child of Valeria J. Jarman and Ronald Royster.  He departed this life on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.

Tim was educated in the Durham Public Schools System.  He attended Hillside High School and graduated from Durham High School in 1986.  He continued his studies at North Carolina Central University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration.  Upon graduation, he was employed at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  He was a dedicated and loyal employee with several business, especially Lim’s Mens Wear.  He was a “fashion guru”. He had a keen eye for coordinating colors, patterns, and designs.

Tim’s LOVE for food, and his compassion for people gave him the idea to start TJ’s Bull City Brunch Club.  In addition to his many joys, he also had a love for cars, especially Mercedes Benz.

Tim was always a “force to be reckon with” but in the end he made lifelong memories with family and friends, and most importantly loving his “daughter”, MONCLAIRE.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandmothers, uncles, aunts, and cousins.  He leaves to cherish his memory: Mother, Valeria Jarman; Father, Ronald Royster (Val); Brothers, Anthony Jarman and Brad Williams; Sisters, Stephanie Smith (Orin), Valerie Bush; Uncles, George L. Howard (Laverne), Valmy Royster, a special niece, Kenyatta Echard, and a great-nephew, Kannon Lassiter, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Last but not least, there is his HEARTBEAT, MonClaire Hunter Jarman.
